Alongside our mobile games we publish creative tools — apps whose job is to let someone make something, rather than play a level. Today that is one avatar and character clothing designer. When there are more, they are listed here; we would rather say that plainly than imply a catalogue we do not have.

The distinction we care about is desktop versus phone. Character clothing has historically meant an image editor on a computer, and the whole point of these apps is that the work happens on the device someone actually has with them.

Apps for iPhone, iPad and Android

The creative app featured on this site runs on iPhone and iPad through the App Store, and on Android phones and tablets through Google Play. It works on both phones and tablets; a tablet simply provides more drawing space.

How We Verify App Information

Every store fact on this site — rating, review count, price, age rating, download size, minimum OS, release and update dates — is read from the official App Store and Google Play listings by a script, not typed in by hand. Each figure is shown with the storefront it came from and the date it was read.

Two consequences worth stating. Ratings belong to the stores that collected them, so we reproduce them with their source rather than aggregating them into a score of our own. And where Apple's listing and its older lookup API disagree — which currently happens on age ratings — the listing wins, because that is what a person actually sees.
